Lochte Wins 400 IM in Blowout; Phelps 4th
On a stunner of an opening night at the Olympic pool in London, Michael Phelps was routed by his American rival, Ryan Lochte in the 400-meter individual medley. Lochte took gold, and Phelps trailed by more than 4 seconds. (July 28)
