The Fraze Pavilion is not playing around this summer, as it continues to pile on the big-name acts for its summer concert series.

The latest addition is the Goo Goo Dolls, who will perform at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering at 8 p.m. May 14.

The platinum-selling Goo Goo Dolls have had hits such as “Name,” “Slide” and “Iris” from the “City of Angels” soundtrack.

Rachel Sherwood, operations coordinator for The Fraze, said the venue tries to cater to a wide demographic.

“We have had John Mayer, the Backstreet Boys ... we always try to do something for all ages,” she said.

The Fraze also announced that Gregg Allman will be on stage the night after the Goo Goo Dolls, at 7:30 p.m. May 15.

Gregg Allman, a member of the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, is a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and a critically acclaimed solo artist.

Tickets for the Goo Goo Dolls cost $25 to $38.50, and tickets for Gregg Allman cost $25 to $35.

Tickets for both shows — as well as Kenny Loggins, Tommy Castro Band, Charlie Musselwhite, John Hammond and Weird Al Yankovic — go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 13, and can be purchased at the Fraze Pavilion Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster’s charge-by-phone line at (800) 745-3000, or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also will be available at the Fraze box office, 95 Lincoln Park Blvd., which is open from Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from 1-3 p.m.
