Wizards walk past Dragons, 6-2

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Fort Wayne Wizards took advantage of a club-record 13 walks, 11 over the first four innings, to defeat the Dayton Dragons 6-2 on Monday night, June 30.
The Dragons lost three of four in the series and dropped to 5-7 in the second half.

(2-5) walked eight over 3 1/3 innings. Fort Wayne scored four runs in the fourth as Dragons pitchers tied a club record by issuing five walks in the inning.
The team travels to Midland, Mich., to start a four-game series with the Great Lakes Loons tonight.
