WSU men's soccer team edges Valparaiso 2-1

VALPARAISO, Ind. — A pair of juniors helped lead the Wright State men's soccer team to a 2-1 win in its Horizon League opener at Valparaiso on Sunday. Braden Fleak and Beavercreek's Adam Harp scored for WSU, (2-7).
WSU women fall: Jess Rooma scored her fifth goal of the season, but the Raiders lost at Loyola, 2-1.
The Raiders fell to 5-6-1 overall and 0-1-1 in Horizon League play.
UD women tie: The Flyers had to settle for a 1-1 double overtime draw at St. Joseph's in Atlantic 10 play. The Flyers (7-3-1, 1-0-1 A-10) saw their lone goal scored by sophomore Jerica DeWolfe.
