WSU women's soccer falls in final seconds

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Wright State women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker on the road, as Alabama-Birmingham scored the game-winner with one second left in overtime.
The Blazers took three shots in the extra period before connecting on the golden goal at the 99:59 mark.
• The Wright State volleyball team started strong in its home opener Friday, Sept. 12, winning the first set and leading in the third, but Morehead State rallied to win the match in four games during the Raider Challenge at the C.J. McLin Gymnasium.
