GAMBIER, Ohio — Stephanie Boardman came off the bench to lead all scorers with 19 points as third-seeded Wittenberg defeated second-seed Ohio Wesleyan 61-45 at Kenyon College on Friday, Feb. 29 in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament semifinals.
The Tigers, who are making their first appearance in the NCAC finals since 2004, will face fourth-seeded Denison at 7 p.m. today, March 1. The Big Red beat top-seeded host Kenyon 43-41 in the other semifinal.

The Tigers (15-10), who lost twice to the Bishops during the regular season, jumped out to a 20-8 lead with nine minutes to go in the first half and never looked back.
Wittenberg's defense limited Ohio Wesleyan to just 24.2 percent shooting from the field. The Tigers struggled from the three-point line, going 1-for-10.
Katie Gregorevich added 12 points, Carrie Dyer scored 11 and Katherine Hueter 10 for the Tigers, while Kristin Donawerth had eight rebounds and six steals.
Ohio Wesleyan finished the season 18-8.
