Camping:

  • East Fork has 399 sites, all have electrical hookups
  • 7 full-service sites also have sewer and water hookups
  • Campground offers showers, flush toilets, drinking water, a camper's beach, and boat ramp
  • Pets are permitted in designated areas
  • Cedar Cabins with all the amenities of a fully-equipped RV are available for daily or weekly rental.
  • 4 camper cabins may also be rented spring through fall
  • A 17-site horsemen's camp is available as well

Trails:

  • Backpack Trail offers a 20-mile round trip
  • Steven Newman Worldwalker Perimeter Trail, 32 miles circles the park; for hikers, backpackers, and horsemen
  • 4 primitive campsites are located along these trails
  • Permits for their use are available through the park office
  • Shorter trails are easily accessible.
  • A 5-mile mountain bike trail begins just west of the park entrance on S.R. 125

Boating:

  • Unlimited horsepower boating opportunities on the 2,160 acre lake
  • 5 launch ramps

Fishing & hunting:

  • Hunting permitted in designated areas
  • Fish species include bluegill, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and crappie. Also stocked with the Hybrid Striper.
  • Valid Ohio fishing and/or hunting license is required

Swimming:

  • 1200 foot swimming beach

Picnic areas:

  • Picnic areas available with tables, grills and drinking water
  • Two picnic shelters available on first-come first-serve basis
  • The Turkey Ridge shelter is reservable

The Gem City Rollergirls are looking for a few good women to join their team. Basic skating ability and the willingness to learn one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the nation is all that's required. Check out an open practice and workshop for women ages 18 and older this Sunday, Nov. 23, at Kettering's Skateworld.
