Lodge:

  • 110 guest rooms
  • Features include indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, whirlpool and exercise room
  • Additional accommodations include a restaurant, lounge and meeting rooms

Cottages:

  • 25 cottages offer overnight accommodations
  • Cottages have two bedrooms, bath with a shower, living room, complete kitchen, dining area and screened porch
  • Cottages sleep six people
  • The historic Harding Cabin offers a unique setting and sleeps 8

Camping:

  • 227 sites, all have electricity
  • Campground features showers, flush toilets and a dump station
  • Pets permitted on designated sites
  • 5 Rent-A-Camp units consisting of a tent, dining fly, cooler, cook stove and other equipment can be rented during the summer months by reservation
  • Group camp is also available by reservation
  • A horsemen's camp provides primitive overnight facilities for riders
  • A primitive group camp offers an area for groups

Boating:

  • Unlimited horsepower boating permitted
  • 2 launch ramps provide
  • Fully equipped marina offers fuel, boat rental and seasonal dock rentals

Fishing & hunting:

  • The lake is famous for its early spring saugeye fishing below the dam
  • Excellent catches of catfish, largemouth bass and crappie are possible
  • Excellent waterfowl hunting
  • 1200 blinds are issued each season on a lottery basis
  • Hunting is permitted in the state wildlife area next to the park for pheasant, rabbit, squirrel and deer

Picnic areas:

  • Several picnic areas available

Trails:

  • 9 miles of hiking trails through meadows and scattered woodlands
  • 14 miles of bridle trails accommodate riders with their own horses
  • Fitness trail near the lodge

Swimming:

  • 1,700-foot swimming beach
  • Features a concession area and changing booths

Golf:

  • 18-hole golf course near the lodge

The Gem City Rollergirls are looking for a few good women to join their team. Basic skating ability and the willingness to learn one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the nation is all that's required. Check out an open practice and workshop for women ages 18 and older this Sunday, Nov. 23, at Kettering's Skateworld.
