The swamps and marshlands of Tinker's Creek State Park harbor a variety of natural wonders. Herons, ducks, geese and beaver can be found in the spring-fed waters, while cattail, buttonbush and swamp white oak line the shores of this beautiful park.

  • Spring-fed lake offers bass, bluegill, crappie, perch and catfish
  • Bluegills, bass are in the two ponds along Pond Run Trail

California Impressionism

So you're ready for spring and you'd love to get away from it all, but that simply isn't in the picture at the moment. Well, thanks to the Dayton Art Institute and The Irvine Museum, what is in the picture is a soothing alternative: a visit back in time to California's lush and gorgeous landscapes in an era when they were still pristine.
