Guilford Lake State Park is a quiet fishing lake located in northeastern Ohio on the west fork of the Little Beaver Creek. The gentle rolling terrain of the area offers a serene escape for park visitors year round.
Camping
- 41 electric sites
- Fishing dock, drinking water, showers, flush toilets, picnic tables, fire-rings
- Pets permitted
Boating
- Boats with motors up to 10 horsepower are permitted
- 3 Launching ramps and seasonal dock rentals are available
- Boat rentals are available from a privately-owned marina
Trails
- 0.5 mile hiking trail skirts the scenic lakeshore
Fishing
- Bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish can be taken at Guilford Lake.
- A valid Ohio fishing license is required.
- An accessible fishing pier is available
Picnicking
- Shaded picnic areas with tables and grills are available
- A reservable shelterhouse is available
Swimming
- A 600-foot public swimming beach is located on the northwest side of the lake
- Facilities include a bathhouse with changing booths and showers

The Gem City Rollergirls are looking for a few good women to join their team. Basic skating ability and the willingness to learn one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the nation is all that's required. Check out an open practice and workshop for women ages 18 and older this Sunday, Nov. 23, at Kettering's Skateworld. If nothing else, maybe you can get in a good workout to offset some of those Thanksgiving Day calories. More »
