About the Park
Formerly Van Cleve Park, this popular park, found along the Great Miami River in the heart of Downtown Dayton, is a hub of activities for all ages - from concerts to Laser, Light & Music Shows, to pedal boats and even outdoor ice skating in winter. Beautiful floral plantings, hanging baskets and fountains make RiverScape MetroPark the Miami Valley's favorite gathering place.
Water craft, bicycle & roller blade rentals - Memorial Day through Labor Day
18 different musically themed Laser, Light and Music Shows will be presented almost every Friday and Saturday evening, Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends (and on Dayton Dragon home game nights). Classical to rock music plays to colorful laser images on a football field-sized water screen over the Great Miami River.
Shows last approximately 15 minutes. On evenings when wind conditions do not permit us to utilize our water screen, an all-beam show will be presented for your enjoyment on Festival Plaza. On nights when Dayton Dragons home games run later than the laser show starting time, an additional show will be shown approximately 15 minutes after the game ends.
Late November through February. Call (937) 278-2607.
