Leonard E. Stubbs Memorial Park is home to the Centerville Community Ampitheater which features concerts, plays, and other entertainment events.
Admission to these events is free of charge. The Centerville Jazz Band Boosters (Centerville High School Marching Band) run concessions at the events.
The ampitheater is located near the center of the park and the seating area is on a gently sloping hill to provide good seating for all. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the shows!
New playground equipment has been installed at the park on West Spring Valley Road. This is the second installation of equipment. The play area, located near the inline skating rink on the north side of the park, features swings, bridges, slides, tunnels and other fun stuff for youngsters.

The Gem City Rollergirls are looking for a few good women to join their team. Basic skating ability and the willingness to learn one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the nation is all that's required. Check out an open practice and workshop for women ages 18 and older this Sunday, Nov. 23, at Kettering's Skateworld.
