About the Aquatic Center

State-of-the-art aquatic complex features:

  • 15,800-square-feet of heated water
  • Beach-type entry leading to 8-lane lap pool
  • Children’s water playground with interactive water spray features
  • Two giant water slides
  • Tube slide
  • Wet sand playground
  • Two sand volleyball courts
  • Diving board
  • Swim lessons and other aquatic programming

Sycamore Trails Park

214 Heincke Rd.
Adjacent to the new Aquatic Center, this 74-acre park provides visitors a secluded setting in which to enjoy the beauty of nature. A favorite of local families, Sycamore Trails features:

  • Picnic shelters, tables and grills
  • Children’s playground
  • Youth fishing pond with live ducks
  • Green space
  • Nature walk

Opening weekend will be held May May 27-29.

The Gem City Rollergirls are looking for a few good women to join their team. Basic skating ability and the willingness to learn one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the nation is all that's required. Check out an open practice and workshop for women ages 18 and older this Sunday, Nov. 23, at Kettering's Skateworld.
