Skydiver CareFlighted after accident

WARREN COUNTY —

A skydiver was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital after a parachuting accident earlier this evening.

Just after 7 p.m. sheriff’s deputies and emergency crews were called to the Holly Hills Golf Club on U.S. Route 42 on the report of an accident involving a male victim stuck in a tree an not moving, according to reports.

CareFlight landed at the scene and removed the victim. The extent of the parachuter’s injuries and condition is unknown, and his identity has not been released by officials.

We will update this story when we receive more information on what happened.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
