Organizer Sharon Lane, an adjunct creative writing teacher at Stivers School for the Arts, says that the spoken-word performance at the Yellow Cab Building in Dayton on Saturday is a statement about the uniqueness of participating student writers Jamela Lovelace, Althea Jones and Afreya Henderson.
