White Punch

1 2-liter of Sprite

1 large can pineapple juice

1/2 gallon pineapple sherbet

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Pour Sprite and pineapple juice in a large punch bowl. Scoop in sherbet and ice cream and stir.

New Year's Eve Celebration Punch

3 cups sugar

3 cups apple cider or apple juice

6 cups grapefruit juice

6 cups orange juice

1-1/2 quarts ginger ale

10 red and green Maraschino cherries with stems

Lemonade Ice Cubes:

1 (6-ounce) frozen lemonade, thawed and prepared

In a saucepan, mix the sugar and apple cider. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil; cook 5 minutes without stirring. Cool; chill. After chilling, add the grapefruit juice, orange juice and ginger ale. Pour into a large deep bowl or punch bowl. Add lemonade ice cubes. For lemonade ice cubes, pour prepared lemonade in ice cube tray; freeze. Place cups around the punch bowl. Place cherries, with stems, on each individual serving of punch. Serves 10.

Honey-of-a-Punch

5 cups unsweetened pineapple juice

5 cups cranberry juice cocktail

2 cups water

1 cup honey

2 tablespoons whole allspice

4 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks

Place first 4 ingredients in a large dutch oven or pot. Place allspice and cinnamon sticks in center of a 6-inch square of cheese cloth and tie with string. Add spices to punch mixture and simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour. Serve hot. Punch may also be prepared by placing first 4 ingredients in a large electric percolator. Stir until well blended. Place allspice and cinnamon sticks in percolator basket. Perk through complete cycle. Yields about 17 (6-ounce) servings.

Orange Smoothie

Kathy Donthnier, Gratis

1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice, undiluted

1 cup milk

1 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

10 to 12 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
