Reward offered in Pleasant Twp. break-ins

Pleasant Twp., Ohio — Clark County and the Ohio Farm Bureau are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of people responsible for a series of vehicle thefts and break-ins in Pleasant Twp. this month.
Residents in northeast Clark County were hit by a rash of thefts May 2.

Break-ins were reported at outbuildings and barns on Broadgauge Road, Collins Arbogast Road and Pleasant Chapel Road. Six incidents were reported. Four vehicles were reported stolen, and three of the vehicles were recovered the same day in the Pleasant Twp. area. Two ATVs were reported stolen and are still missing, along with some power tools.
One stolen Chevy 3500 Silverado truck was recovered in Greenville on May 6.
President Robyn Callicoat of the Clark County Farm Bureau and Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly posted signs about the $2,500 Farm Bureau reward program at the Plank family farm on Broadgauge Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Clark County Sheriff's Office at 328-2560.
Kelly recommended residents of Clark County lock garages, outbuildings and barns where possible and remove all keys from vehicle ignitions.
