A casual, trendy little family-owned & operated Thai cafe with full bar and award-winning crab Rangoon "sticks." Menu features house specials such as Thai Sukiyaki and Alligator Pad Kapow. Alligator is available with several other main dishes as well. A variety of excellent curries are available, along with several well-known Chinese dishes such as General Tso's chicken. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner stops by frequently to check in on you.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bahn Mai! We wanted a quiet, nice/romantic atmosphere with good food for n mid-range price and we got it except that the food was fantastic not just good! Start with their delicious Thai Iced Tea (best we've ever had) and be sure to get the Rangoon sticks. We had the roasted garlic kind and they are very tasty and unique. Great service. Great ambiance. And absolutely great food (especially if you like spice).

Bahn Mai participated in A White Night at Cox Arboretum where I tried Mango Salad for the first time. It was to die for! I eat there a couple of times a week and highly recommend the Twice Cooked Fish, Rad Nad, Pad Siew, Tamarind Beef and Kapow. The atmosphere is hip and the servers are great. Word getting around, it's getting harder and harder to get a table on the weekends, I'm going to have to start visiting during the week days! Call for a reservation so you don't have to wait.
