Some quality Q and A with Mario Lopez

Staff Writer

> We've got pics!

> Did you take a picture with the Party Crashers?

If you missed TV host Mario Lopez's appearance at Hammerjax nightclub in Dayton last night, then this is your chance to learn some little known facts about the former "Saved by the Bell" star and "Dancing with the Stars" finalist.

We caught up with him and his dimples on the way to the club and asked him some of the questions featured in our Meet the Party Crashers series to see how he stacks up. Is Mario cool enough to hang in Dayton?

Q: Most played song on your iPod?

A: Right now Michael Jackson

Q: Which song?

A: "P.Y.T." I don't think "Off the Wall" gets enough love. To me that's just as good as "Thriller" the album.

Q: Super power of choice?

A: To stop time.

Q: Do you own a Snuggie?

A: I don't even know what that is. Is that those blankets you stick your arms in? I go old school with just a blanket.

Q: What would you do for a Klondike Bar?

A: There's not much I wouldn't do for Klondike Bar. Those are good.

Q: Do you wear your sunglasses at night?

A: No. That's a funny pet peeve of mine. People that wear their sunglasses at night, inside the club, I think that's hilarious.

Q: If you are crowned Miss Teen USA, what cause will you devote your reign to? (This question was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Mario has hosted pageants such as Miss Teen USA, Miss America, and Miss USA; but his serious answer was so endearing we can't fault him missing the joke.)

A: Pretty much what I do right now with the Boys and Girls Club. Being a former Boys Club member, I think it's very important helping keep kids off the streets and with good role models, and focus their energy towards positive things. So the Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Q: And world peace?

A: Yeah, of course.

Q: What was your favorite A.C. Slater accessory?

A: Do guys have accessories?

Q: Beer or cocktails (Since Mario was already carrying a cocktail on the way to the club, you can kinda already guess the answer...)

A: Cocktails

Q: Favorite?

A: Vodka.

Q: Just vodka....?

A: On the rocks with two limes.

Q: Any new projects coming up that people should watch for?

A: Watch "Extra" every night.

...And you can catch Mario on MTV in August when "America's Best Dance Crew" comes back for another season.
