ScreenPeace to sponser student filmmaking contest

The ScreenPeace Film Festival is sponsoring its inaugural student film/video contest, open to Greater Miami Valley students from kindergarten to college.

The best peace-themed films and videos will win cash and prizes, plus awards presented to each winning filmmaker and plaques to each winner's school.

The films may be a collaboration of several students or created by an individual. Home-school students also are eligible.

All entries must be original productions created between Sept. 1, 2007 and Aug. 30, 2008. Entries must be submitted in standard DVD format and be received by Aug. 30 at the Dayton International Peace Museum, 208 W. Monument Ave., Dayton.
