Franco is an anti-semite. He made some not-so-nice comments about Jews a while back to some customers who he knew were Jewish. EVERYONE should boycott this nasty man’s restaurant.

I Noticed Mama Disalvos was way behind Sopranos. They got 9 times as many votes. I’ve eaten at both places and Mama Disalvos wins hands down. I’m not sure how you could get that big a differance unless a lot of employees are voting multipe times just to keep their jobs Let’s just wait and see whose left at the finish line.

Mmmmm, results seem a bit fishy to me. Sort of like an election in Iran. I’m inclined to dismiss the ‘top 3’ and go with the more believable 4th place position as the real winner.

Looks like I need to try Sopranos and Rosati’s. One of my new favorites is Palermo’s. Never had a bad meal there and have tried several of the dishes. The deep dish is wonderful new find.

Thank y’ll for being real and voting for Franco’s and not letting the Rosati’s cheaters win. The food is ok there, but those folks voting wouldn’t know real Italian if they were Mussolini himself.

I’m sorry, I can’t believe all the hype about sopranos. Had to try it after seeing all these comments. Boy were they wrong… Our service was not as good as we were used to at other places. The pizza was very dry & not flavorful at all, and the prices were very expensive for the portions. Our dessert was not mentionable either.

I used to go to Franco’s about once a week with my neighbor. I didn’t believe the hype about Sopranos when it first opened, but I wish I could have taken a lunchbox to fill as the portions are huge, I couldn’t even finish my dish. Every time I go I eat like an ogre. The strongside at sopranos definately has to be how well their pasta goes with their excellent assortment of drinks. If Sopranos doesn’t win, it really is karma though, as I took a date there last weekend and they were closed

The owners of Soprano’s cured my cancer! Their pasta has solved world hunger! Once the Somali pirates had a taste of Soprano ’s calzones , they renounced piracy and have dedicated themselves to world peace….Osama Bin Laden himself would emerge from his cave if tempted by the fine steaks and atmosphere of Soprano’s!!!! Jeez, people, enough- its a little much- after a while we all know you own the place or work there….sublety is a lost art for them.

We love Rosati’s! They have the best pizzas around - we order at least once a week! We also use them to cater home and office parties and everything is always so good! . Franco’s is another one that is HUGELY overated. Thier food quality is O.K. at best, the service sometimes can be downright “awful”. Franco himself can be rude and obnoxious. Tony’s in Englewood to me is the best kept secret around. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, ( I think it was a former Famous Recipe Chicke Place) but the food and service are one of a kind. My family gets carry out there as well.

ROSATTI’S IN SPRINGBORO- hands down is the best!

I enjoy the baked spaghetti with homemade meatballs, stuffed crust pizzas and calzones. As someone suggested above- they have an extensive menu and pleasing service minded staff.

They added a dining area and are packing in families and booking parties.

Best kept secret in Springboro. Go Larry and Cheryl- we appreciate you!

I ordered some s’ghetti from Sophranos and the first surprise was the price. 7 bucks. The second was the bread. The s’ghetti was perfectly cooked, not overcooked and too limp, or under cooked and too stiff. Some places I’ve eaten skimp on the meat by overly grinding it to the consistancy of sand. Not here. The meat was present, in small chunks, mixed with a nice full bodied marinella sauce that left a nice lingering taste in my mouth. Quality, value and service. We have a new champ in town.
