Soft rock has cameras in vents in restrooms? Sparky’s needs them, then maybe I would have all of my eyesight. I was assaulted in the restroom and the owner and staff made it impossible to press charges. Thanks.

I wish Sparky’s would have had cameras in the vents in the bathrooms, then maybe I wouldn’t have permanent damage to my eye from being jumped by 3 girls there. What a cover up by owner and staff. Impossible to press charges.

Don’t know why some FRIENDLY competition always turns into a bashing contest..there is always a few people from both sides who hit below the belt. I am glad to see the the owners of both Sparky’s and Soft Rock are classy enough to put things in perspective. I have been to both Soft Rock and Sparkys. Both have over 80,000 karaoke songs to choose from and great sounds and fun hosts like Tim, Curt and Mark. Sparkys allows smoking in their bar, thats why I voted for Soft Rock.

Russ, Jason, and the Sparky’s Lounge would first like to congratulate Curt, Mark, Christy, and entire Soft Rock staff for getting the most votes. This voting was supposed to be for fun and to let everyone that Soft Rock and Sparky’s are the two best places for karaoke. This voting turned into bad publicity for both Sparky’s and Soft Rock. Sparky’s and Soft Rock both agree that the comments were uncalled for. We are both very disappointed in all of the negative comments from our customers as well as the comments from Soft Rock’s customers. Many of Sparky’s and Soft Rock’s customer’s patronize both establishments. For those of you who don’t know, Curt has been doing karaoke shows at Sparky’s for the past five years, but its more than just that. The owners of Sparky’s and the owner’s of Soft Rock have been friends for many years. The two are just like one big family. Finally, Sparky’s and Soft Rock would like to thank everyone who voted. We hope to see everyone this week.

At least Sparky’s doesn’t have Cameras in the bathrooms in the vents! That’s one of the reasons I don’t like Soft Rock, and the Location is Patroled by Centervilles Finest, more than Miami Township. We have to send out 5 designated drunks ahead of us to leave that place.

As for the person mentioning the “so cald” (sic) kitchen at Soft Rock…have you tried the food there? I have had food in a lot of bars (and not restaurants w/bars in them) in my life and very few have even come close to what Soft Rock is offering.

I have been going there for about 3 years now and Saturday night was in the Top 5 busiest I have seen. Trouble? I think not!!!

The Soft Rock Cafe is the most epic place to hane a party, reunion, and just hang out. The DJ’s there are really cool guys. The play some of todays most popular hits as well as those from the 80’s. No other place compares to SRC, they just annihilate the competition.

NO PLACE LIKE SPARKYS!! Karaoke every night with Tim, Curt or Steve (no hotter karaoke guys anywhere)!!! There are no bad singers and everyone always comes back - It’s our neighborhood ‘Cheers’, always fun times. Carmen, Heather, Tiffany and Amber are awesome. The Soft Rock Cafe is without a doubt the best karaoke spot around! Great service, wonderful light show, and the sound system would give any recording artist a run for their money. Curt and Mark are the funniest guys around. Sparky’s can’t compare to SRC’s overall better quality customer appreciation. And the food is quite good as well! My vote goes all the way to Soft Rock!

It’s not the venue so much as the HOST! I have been going to Curt and Tim’s shows for years! Since they both work at Sparky’s, that get’s my vote, but honestly wherever they are, is the place to be…. I’ve not personally seen misterbrints show, but I know he is a product of Curt, so I’m sure he rocks! I also see him at Curt and Tim’s shows all the time supporting them… that gets an A+ in my book. : )

Curt, MisterBrint, and Tim are by far in a league seperate from all other supposed ‘KJ’s” in the Dayton area. So any place these guys host is your best available option. They’re hilarious, friendly, and have an endless library of songs to choose from. Even though you’ll just sing “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood and sip your Cherry Bomb, the Karaoke faithful know what’s up.

Sparkys is not only the best place for Karaoke, but it is the best place in Dayton to party. The service is great, the beer is always ice cold, and the "Royal Flushes" are second to none. Russ and his son, Jason, run a very respectible and enjoyable place to meet new friends and enjoy good times. Even if Karaoke is not your "cup of tea, ace in the hole, or the woman of your dreams" you must come to Sparkys. It is the “Cheers” of Dayton, where everybody knows your name. See you there.

Sparky’s is hands down the best place to Karaoke. Tim and Steve are the best KJ’s around with over 80,000 songs to choose from. Sparky’s is busy 7 nights a week with karaoke. You won’t find a better place to Karaoke than Sparky’s.

Some of the best times I’ve had are at karaoke night at Sparky’s. The people are great, the bartenders are fantastic and the owner Russ and his son Jason are great guys. My favorite night is Wednesday with Curt. It’s worth the trip.
