Elf the movie

If the chilly weather has left you feeling more like hibernating than celebrating, a movie may be in order. Beaver Valley Cinemas' Saturday, Dec. 6 "Night of Christmas" event will be practically bursting holiday cheer. See "Polar Express" and "Elf" on the big screen, plus Christmas music will act as a backdrop for various activities going on throughout the night, including a pinball and a video cornhole tournament. Popcorn and beverages are included in the $5 ticket price. More »

Whatever their reasons, more restaurants in the Dayton area are using wine tastings and wine dinners to try to get new, fresh faces to cross their doorsteps.
