Dayton’s Buckeye Vodka scores gold medal, ‘best-buy’ designation
Dayton’s own Buckeye Vodka earned a 92-point score, a gold medal and a best-buy designation from the Beverage Testing Institute, an independent wine-and-spirits-evaluation company based in Chicago.
The BTI tasters described Buckeye Vodka as having a “Neutral nose with cream and grain nuances and a satiny dryish medium-to-full body and a long, clean sweet pastry, peppery spice, and mineral accented finish. An exceptional smooth and clean vodka for every application.”
The 92 rating placed Dayton Vodka at tied for 17th among 92 vodkas evaluated. Click here for the full BTI report on unflavored vodkas.
Buckeye vodka launched in Dayton just over six months ago. Earlier this month, we told you about its early success in tripling its initial sales projections in its first six months.
