Jay’s to host wine luncheon Saturday with Count Sebastiano Capponi
DAYTON — Jay’s Restaurant, 225 E. Sixth St., will host a wine luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, featuring the Tuscan wines of Villa Calcinaia. Count Sebastiano Capponi, the owner of Villa Calcinaia, will be the special guest, along with Ann Boucher of Vanguard Wines, the wines’ distributor. The menu includes sausage and peppers with a light tomato sauce; veal and peas on orzo; swordfish with garlic sauce and creamy polenta; stuffed calamari with red sauce and pasta; and tiramisu.
