It helps, and today’s column answers my question; thanks! I wonder why the Beavercreek Kroger comes through as a “Fresh Fare?” The Fresh Fare is in Kettering and the Beavercreek store is a Marketplace.

The tastings list that appears on Uncorked, as I point out in each post, comes from a Dayton-based wine listserv. I believe the Kroger stores you mentioned know to send their tastings to the listser, but if not, they can email me at mfisher@daytondailynews.com and I can remind them. As an alternative, Kroger or any other wine shop that has an event that doesn’t make it onto the list can let readers know about their event by posting a comment. Hope this helps …
