Wine Gallery to host WDPR 88.1 fundraiser wine dinner

WINE GALLERY TO HOST PUBLIC RADIO FUNDRAISER

DAYTON — The Wine Gallery & Cafe at 5 W. Monument Ave. at the northwest corner of North Main Street and Monument Avenue will host the 2nd Annual WDPR Classical 88.1 FM Wine Dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 24. The food menu to be paired with four wines will include: a Mediterranean anti pasta table, salad nicoise, Prosciutto-and-Fontina-stuffed chicken breast atop sauteed Portabella mushroom with linguine and basil sauce. Live entertainment will be provided by Clara Hofeldt on violin and Josh Halpern on cello, two members of The Blackbird Quartet. Proceeds of the dinner will benefit Classical 88.1. The cost is $60.
