Wine Loft worth checking out, whether you’re a wine geek or not

Here’s a review I wrote for today’s DDN Go section on The Wine Loft at The Greene. The review focuses a bit more on the food, but doesn’t neglect the wine service at the area’s newest wine bar/restaurant.

agree and disagree. Selection is poor and in my opinion over-priced. The “vibe” is a little too swanky and I get the big city feel but sitting on a big couch that wraps around a room while you are staring at the people across from you is weird. Food is anemic, the pours even worse, and the knowledge of both the staff and owner is lacking. Do not waste your time or $ unless you are into wasting your time and $.
