Just got back from southern Rhone valley and virtualy every winery, tasting room, and wine shop had a broad selection of appellation-specific box wines including Luberon, Vauclus, Cotes-du-Rhone, and real Chablis. The most surprising was the availability of Muscat Beaume-de-Venise, a slightly fortified dessert wine, served at two very high end restaurants in carafe from a box.
