My turn in the fermentation barrel

As one Uncorked commenter noticed and pointed out yesterday, Tom Wark, author of Fermentation who has done more than any other human being to further the cause of wine blogging in America, scraped the bottom of the wine barrel yesterday and threw a spotlight on Uncorked.

Careful — the picture may blind you.

Tom has a bit of fun with the interview questions, and I, well, yes, I MIGHT have had a little fun back …

Nice job Mark. It’s good to see you get the recognition. I must admit that that is a pretty big closeup of your face that pops up when you open the link. Upon further review, I think it suits you better than the one you have had on the blog for years. An interesting mix of questions. Keep up the good work of showing that we aren’t all wine rubes here in flyover country.

Tom’s features are probably the most fun one can have answering “20 Questions”. Congratulations on the being featured!

A look at Thai dining options in Dayton [guide]

For many years, Thai West in Huber Heights was the only Asian restaurant in the region that used the word "Thai" in its name and focused primarily on the cuisine. Now there are more than a half-dozen Thai restaurants in all corners of the valley — including in a few places you might least expect it.
