Miamisburg restaurant adds lunch buffet; Kettering restaurant taps into Octoberfest

Two “small plates” of restaurant news:

— The restaurant called Giuliano, an Anticoli Tavern, at 67 S. Main St. in Miamisburg, has started serving a lunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. weekdays. The buffet will change daily, and will include pasta, meat, fish, vegetables, starches, pizza, salad, soups and bread. The cost is $8.95. Call-ahead seating is available. — The Hawthorn Grill, 1222 E. Stroop Road in Kettering, is celebrating Oktoberfest with a special menu offered through Saturday, Oct. 15. The special menu items include Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Wiener Schnitzel, Caraway & Apple Cider Pork Chop, and Choucroute Garni. For more information, call (937) 298-2222.
