Mall pretzel shop’s sales to benefit Children’s Medical Center today

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Auntie Anne’s Pretzels at the Dayton Mall will donate 100 percent of its pretzel and drink sales today, April 26, to the Dayton Children’s Medical Center in celebration of National Pretzel Day.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the pretzel shop, located on the Dayton Mall’s main floor between Macy’s and JC Penney. At 3 p.m. today, Dayton Children’s ambassador Abigail Kurdin and K99.1-FM’s Nancy Wilson will make an appearance at the pretzel shop.

This is the 12th consecutive year Auntie Anne’s had held the charity event, which has raised more than $59,000 for the medical center, according to hospital officials. The pretzel shop offers hand-rolled pretzels in a variety of shapes and flavors, including the newest: bitesize Original & Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Nuggets.
