Restaurants: Last call for Valentine’s weekend specials

Some of you may have seen the special-occasion Valentine’s Day dining piece that ran in today’s Dayton Daily News Go section. I’ve added a few more destinations to the version of that story we have posted here on the Taste page, based on information restaurants provided to me after our deadline for the print version of the story.

Now, I’m seeking help for a second story that will appear in NEXT Friday’s Go section, on Feb. 11, that is geared more toward a “last-minute” guide to Valentine’s Day weekend dining, at places slightly more casual and less likely to fill up with reservations, but which are still offering some type of special Valentine’s Day (or Valentine’s weekend) menu or specials.

I am again, unfortunately, operating under a very tight deadline for this story, so I must hear from restaurants, taverns, sports bars and other eateries by noon Monday, Feb. 7, in order to get the information into the Go section, which is printed in advance of its Friday distribution.

Please email the information to me - name of restaurant, address, phone number, and an explanation of what their Valentine’s Day weekend specials are - to mfisher@daytondailynews.com … That would be the best and quickest way for me to put it into the story that will run Feb. 11.
