New restaurant at The Greene putting on ‘finishing touches,’ shooting for Nov. 15 opening

The new restaurant at The Greene that we’ve been monitoring, to be called Choe’s Asian Gourmet, is in the “finishing touches” stage and is shooting for a Nov. 15 opening date, according to the restaurant’s general manager, Matt Younker.

Choe’s Asian Gourmet’s menu includes sushi, Chinese and Thai dishes, Younker said.It will seat about 200, including 40 on a patio. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will feature a main dining room, cocktail bar, sushi bar and upper mezzanine. The restaurant will be located at 4394 Juniper Way between Von Maur department store and Pasha Grill restaurant.

Meanwhile, work is also continuing on another new restaurant at The Greene, to be called Joya’s Bistro, which we mentioned to you back in August.

Greg Januleski, who owns the restaurant along with Phil Marino, said this morning, Nov. 2, that Joya’s Bistro will open either just before Thanksgiving, or the week after.
