Miamisburg restaurant closed since 2007 reopens

MIAMISBURG — The Alex’s Continental Restaurant and banquet center that has been closed for nearly three years has reopened.

While the restaurant’s precise hours and days it will be open haven’t been set yet, it will serve both lunch and dinner at the facility at 125 Monarch Lane near the I-75/Ohio 725 interchange. The banquet center was the site of many wedding receptions and reunions over several decades before owner Alex Pragalos closed it in 2007.

The restaurant officially reopened at 5 p.m. Friday, July 16. It will be open today — Monday, July 19 — for lunch and dinner.
