Village Inn Tavern reopens
FARMERSVILLE — The Village Inn tavern at 42 E. Center St. in Farmersville has reopened.
The tavern closed last fall, but reopened under the same name this spring, Ron Boehringer, a partner in the current venture who is in the process of purchasing the tavern, said this morning, June 21.
The Village Inn, which has four employees and seats 50 people, serves burgers, pizza, subs, chicken and fish, Boehringer said. The partner said he is planning renovations and a grand reopening after the purchase is final.
The Village Inn is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday, with happy hour daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
