Kettering restaurant says it’s closed temporarily
KETTERING — Sopranos restaurant at 1222 E. Stroop Road in Kettering was closed over the weekend, and a sign on the restaurant’s door told customers the eatery is “temporarily closed” because of remodeling.
No one could be seen inside the restaurant Sunday evening or this morning, May 3, and no one answered a knock on the restaurant’s back door. Callers to the Sopranos phone line encounter only a ringing phone, with no voicemail greeting.
The sign on the door reads, “We are temporarily closed. We are remodeling. Thank you for your patience.”
The restaurant opened in April 2009 under the ownership of Mark Powers, Ray Woodie and John Doty, according to Powers.
If you have information about Sopranos and its timetable for reopening, send an email to mfisher@daytondailynews.com.
