Mother’s Day dining: here are some options
Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9 is the most popular holiday of the year to dine out, so if you have a favorite restaurant, the time to make reservations is now, if not yesterday.
The restaurants listed here contacted us to share their hours and special menus after we published both print and online solicitations for eateries to share their special Mother’s Day plans. Restaurants that didn’t make this list but which are doing something special for Mother’s Day should feel free to share their plans by clicking on “Post your comment” and letting us know.

— Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 4432 Walnut St. at The Greene, Beavercreek, (937) 320-9548. Special brunch menu 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., regular menu through the evening. Brunch $29.95. Mothers receive a $25 dining card to use on a subsequent visit to Fleming’s from May 10 through June 14.
— Fricker’s, all Dayton-area locations, open regular hours from 11 a.m. through 2:30 a.m., mothers will receive a small box of chocolates while supplies last.

We’re going to Christopher’s in Kettering for dinner. I highly recommend it.

Bullwinkle’s will be having a Mother’s day brunch from 11-4 with items such as prime rib, made to order omelletes, pastries, eggs, bacon, and much more. We will also be open to 9pm serving our full menu.

What has happened to the “Mothers Day Champagne Brunch Buffet” of years past? Breakfast items and Prime Rib, fruits, cheeses and pastries, were a true Mothers Day delight.

First Watch restaurants will be giving away a free box of Russell Stover Chocolates to mothers that dine at any of the company’s 80 restaurants on Sunday, May 9. Happy Mother’s Day!

Starlite Restaurant & Diner will be open all day from 7.00 am to 10.00pm.. We will have specials as always.. Reservations are not required. Happy Mother’s Day.
