Restaurant chain’s ‘pay once, eat twice’ deal launches tomorrow

Most Dayton-area Chick-fil-A restaurants will host a “customer appreciation day” on Tuesday, April 13 that allows diners to pay once and eat twice — although you have to wait at least a day to redeem the freebie.

The offer’s good only at participating restaurants (see list below). And you’ve got to hang onto your receipt to make it work.

The promotion works like this: Any food items that customers purchase on Tuesday, April 13 can be obtained a second time for free by showing their receipt anytime between Wednesday, April 14 through April 30.

Delivery orders or catering orders are not included in the promotion, Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Katherine Strate said. And no, you can’t go back for unlimited free items through the end of the month. That’s why they call it a pay-once, eat-twice deal and NOT a “pay-once, eat-free-for-two-weeks deal.”

Chick-fil-A restaurants that are participating in the offer include the Beavercreek location at 2360 N. Fairfield Road, Washington Twp. restaurant at 1482 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, the Chick-fil-A at 3339 Benchwood Road in Butler Twp., and both the Dayton Mall and Fairfield Commons Mall locations, according to a Chick-fil-A email news release.

If your favorite Chick-fil-A isn’t on the list above, I’d recommend calling in advance to find out whether it is part of the promotion.
