Kettering Pizza Hut closes
The Pizza Hut pizza shop at 3141 Far Hills Ave. in the Fountain Square center in Kettering has closed.
A sign on the carryout-only shop’s door reads, “This location will be closing on Jan. 18” and directs customers to locations on Whipp Road, Indian Ripple Road, Linden Avenue and in West Carrollton.
An email and phone call to Pizza Hut corporate headquarters seeking additional information about the closing were not immediately returned.

It amazes me the people on here who left the negative comments about this store. There were some hard working people at this time, some who had been there a long time who now have no job. You don’t know the ins and outs of what went on for these employees, like what kind of notice they were given or how they were even told. maybe some of you need to stop thinking about your damn stomachs and start thinking about people who are left to look for new jobs.

NYC, I love the city, but your attitude stinks. NYC is NOT the center of the universe. (although it’s closer than Dayton) I say we should support all the locally owned restaurants, that have character and ambiance. I suggest Troni’s Pizza in Kettering. Give it a try and report back.

Pizza Hut closed because they didn’t have the business to support it staying open. Huge story there….I hope the local news do live shots from the scene.

Its a CARRYOUT ONLY location, thats why there “were never more than four cars in the lot”. Try reading the article before you comment.

When ever I drove past there might of been a total of four cars there in the parking lot. More than likely it was the employees. Also that location was very dirty. It’s not a loss

I feel for the workers out of jobs, but Pizza Hut is not a loss. Plenty of other Pizza Huts if you like it and despite what the commercials claim, those wings and pasta meals are about as good as frozen store bought.
