New restaurant opens today in Beavercreek
City Views Diner, the new restaurant we told you about back in July, will open today at 3979 Indian Ripple Road, in a strip shopping center east of The Greene.
City Views Diner owner Paul Mussolino said this morning, Sept. 23, that he expects to still be “ironing out some wrinkles” today — including a newly installed fryer that isn’t working properly — but the restaurant will open on schedule at 11 a.m. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The full-service, sit-down restaurant seats 76 diners.
Mussolino, a native of Brooklyn who lives in Dayton, has extensive food-service experience: he served as a manager of U.S. Air Force clubs, including officers clubs, in the U.S. and overseas for 20 years before he retired in 2004.
For more information, call the restaurant at (937) 320-4637.

Uio, suggest you go again. Let Paul know that you weren’t happy the first time again and maybe he’ll do something special for you. It certainly doesn’t sound anything like the owner I had the pleasure of meeting when I went there. He bent over backwards to make sure his patrons were happy…even the rude ones.

I went there and the food was pretty good but the owner of the store was completely rude, inconsiderate, and had an attitude problem. Being the owner of a restaurant, he should treat people with more respect no matter if he is having a bad day or not. What a jerk!

We have been waiting patiently for City Views to open. It was worth the wait! Nice people, nice (and super-clean) atmosphere…and most importantly, great food. After all, most of us base our opinion of local diners of the quality of their grub, and not so much on where the owner is originally from. Highly recommend City Views.

Sure, arniez. I fully intend on trying the place out. I for one am proud to support local businesses, even if they’re not where I live. Go City Views Diner and Paul Mussolino. Best of luck.

I am not sure why you people all complain about the job losses at the big plants so much and how you cannot find jobs. I lost my job at LTV Steel in Cleveland a while back when that work left. Then, I decided to look for something new, found a medical job. Slightly less pay at first (about equal now), but more benefits, better hours, and a WAY better working environment than plant-life. There are jobs, go find them. Enjoy your unemployment check, I’ll be taking my PAYCHECK to City Views.

Gee, Sheryl, you are a peach! Would you care to join me at this new restaurant? I could surely be made to feel much better about myself by having lunch with you!

Being a native New Yorker doesn’t mean anything. You’re a native New Yorker and you’re hardly decent, nyc.

Sandy, you ought to tell that to all the former GM, Delphi, NCR, LexisNexis, etc. employees who have lost their jobs in the last couple of years. I’m sure they would very much disagree with you. At least you’re not classlessly bashing them for not being downtown like you did for that new Miamisburg restaurant.
