Free chicken wraps at Tim Horton’s on Wednesday at lunchtime
The Tim Horton’s restaurant chain is giving away free “chicken wrap snackers” on Wednesday, April 1 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., the company announced today, March 31.
The free chicken wrap snackers are available in either ranch or BBQ flavors. There is a limit of one wrap per customer. Although the web site says the offer is good at “participating restaurants,” Tim Horton’s spokeswoman Laura Metro said all Tim Horton’s in the U.S. are participating. The new 200-calorie snackers are being introduced at a regular menu price of $1.59.
Metro also said while employees are gearing up for robust crowds tomorrow, each store also will have 50 “rain checks” in case some stores run out early or some customers are prevented from getting their free wraps because of large crowds.

Free garbage is still garbage, but you won’t find that in Econ 101. It’s common sense, something most don’t have. Yeah, a chicken wrap is gonna keep you and me both out of the “bread line”. What is this? The Depression of 1930? Nope. Get a life. Don’t hold your breath looking for me in that line; I don’t live in Riverside.

Tim Hortons has put a lot of effort into expanding their menu. Their drive thru time is quickest in town and all stores are run by independent franchisees who actually work in the stores. I frequent the one at Patterson & Wilmington. I recommend them highly.

I think it’s great that places like these are trying to offer a healthier choice rather than donuts and junk! I agree with the mocha at McDonald’s - it’s awful compaired to Tim’s. If you think the wraps will be nasty or whatever - then don’t try them - go to taco bell - i’ll eat something healthy for my lunch!! Thanks Tim Horton’s!!!!

I don’t plan to try them, but I will remind my co-workers about it if I think they are interested. I enjoy Tim’s donuts and mocha(gimme my senior discount!)once or twice a week, but their sandwiches are all bread and lettuce. I got a freebie at McDonald’s on mocha Monday. It was bitter. I won’t buy one. If I can get a free offer on something I can use, I really appreciate it.

Good news/Bad news. Yeah, it’s free. But it’s not really chicken, it’s ground up red wigglers left over from making Wendy’s burgers. But it sorta tastes like chicken.

Hey, Jack *ss. Yes tbill that is you. How about being grateful. Tim Horton’s, or Starbuck’s or any of these restaurants that have given away free products have not had to do so. Times are tough and they are trying to bring you in. Economics 101 and just a fyi they serve lunch past donut time. But, something tells me you will be the first one in line and the first one complaing about it. People like you aren’t happy even when given free stuff. Everyone else enjoy free things and thank someone!

“Awesome”? Get a vocabulary. It’s Tim Horton’s that’s the joke. A donut place is now serving wraps? Big deal! Like I’d go to Dunkin Donuts for ribs? I bet you think Taco Bell cooks the meat in their restaurant, on site, too. They couldn’t exist without a microwave.

NotaFool: It’s not an April Fools joke - they have a commercial for this… I highly doubt they would waste money on a commercial if it was a joke!!! I think it’s awesome - however I don’t get a long enough lunch to enjoy a free wrap!!!
