This season, every Dragons game can be Skyline time
It seems a natural fit: The Dayton Dragons are a minor-league baseball team affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds, chili is Cincy’s signature dish, so why not bring chili dogs to Dragons games?
Skyline Chili is poised to do just that. Skyline chili dogs will be available at Fifth Third Field for the first time this season, the restaurant chain announced yesterday, March 24.
“Just as Skyline Chili is a tradition for so many in the Dayton area, so is Dragons baseball in the summer,” Alan Riney, Skyline Chili’s Vice President of Marketing, said in a news release. “We are proud to partner with the Dragons and be a part of another exciting baseball season.”
The partnership means that fans will be able to buy Skyline’s signature Cheese Coneys while attending Dragons home games. Skyline will be available at Fifth Third Field starting April 4 for the “Futures Game” when the Cincinnati Reds battle their top minor league prospects, Skyline officials said.

News readers amaze me…Skyline is awesome! If you don’t like something, choose something else! So far we are still a free country of capitalists-don’t gripe about a good thing in Dayton. Good is hard to come by these days.

Awesome! Now all we need is Milano’s, and tickets to see the games!

Yeah! Nothing like a coney to go with a baseball game. I do, however, agree with “Loves to Eat” in that our beloved Dayton Independents should be represented at the games for food choices as well. There is room for all kinds of food choices…even stands set up along the sidewalks outside the stadium…bet Fifth Third would love that!!! Happy Eating!

Skyline ROCKS!!! If you think the ballpark prices are over-inflated (and they are…like event pricing should be a surprise to anyone) don’t buy the product and quitcher bitchin’.

You people (the complainers) are so ignorant. Do you know why they charge so much? Because you’ll pay it. Or someone else will. It’s called economics. Check it out some time.

Skyline is the best in the world. I could eat 100 pounds of it in a day.

Stadium concession prices have always been severely inflated above the normal prices for the same items. If that is an issue, do what my wife and I do, eat before you go to the stadium. Eating at a stadium is a choice, not a requisite.

Ever think that they charge higher prices for concessions in order to offset the ticket prices? After all this is a business, not a charity. Don’t want to buy their concessions? That’s what cargo shorts are for!

Who hates Dayton? pissy comments? I just have a problem paying one price in a resturant and another OVERINFLATED price just because I’m at a ballpark. After years of season tickets, thousands of dollars, it would be nice to see something cheaper in price to eat at the ballpark. so p**s off.

Hooray! Skyline is great! Maybe I should open a heartburn stand near the Skyline and Italian Sausage booth! LOL! I think this is a wonderful addition to the Dragon’s family! Can’t wait to chow down! Now if we could get some Miller Lite at the games, we’d be set!

I love Skyline!! Also, it always amazes me as to the amount of grumbling people and their pissy comments obout just about anything and everything. Folks, if you’re that unhappy with Dayton, do us all a favor and move. Some of us still like this little area of the world.

I love Skyline 5 ways and their chili dogs. Hope they have enough hot sauce at the concessions for me.

What you can buy at your local Skyline will be hughly inflated for the same shity hotdog. Let the local independents sell their food and give Dragon fans a chance to sample area food establishments and hope they don’t rape us on the prices.

Skyline is, IMO, worse than the food they currently serve there, but plenty of people do like it. I’ll have what I’ll have and the people who like Skyline can have that if they choose. No harm to me, no problem for them. Go Dragons.

What a crock. I asked about my business selling food there and was told I had to be a non-profit.This is pure BS!There isnt enough space here to tell the rest of the crap I was told.

Skyline is as good or better than the food they are currently selling. Eat something else and leave the Skyline to those who crave it, Kirky.

Well that sucks, Skyline is terrible. I’ll still go to the games though.
