Wing Zone restaurant to open Monday
MORAINE — Wing Zone will open its second Dayton-area location at 5744 Springboro Pike (Ohio 741) on Monday, franchise owner Ramzi Anubtawi said today, Oct. 17.
The success of the first Wing Zone — located in Riverside at 5568 Airway Road — prompted Anubtawi to look for a second location, he said.
A grand opening celebration is planned for Nov. 20.
The menu of the Atlanta-based chain includes Buffalo wings (boneless or original), chicken fingers, burgers, sandwiches and salads.
The hours for the restaurant will be 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to midnight on Sunday. Carryout, delivery and indoor seating are available. The Wing Zone’s phone number is (937) 294-9663.

The sauce options are great, but the prices are a little high. Rita, have you tried Hinder’s in Tipp City? Sure, it’s a small bar, but those get my vote for the best wings in the area. Just fifteen minutes north of Dayton.

I have had their wings once and they were ok, but I think the BEST Wings are at the new Buffalo Wings and Rings in Centerville. Lots of Meat on their wings and the Gyro Quesadilla is great!!

If you knew the failure rate of the restaurants that have previously occupied their Riverside location, you’d know they have to be doing something right. I’ll definitely check ‘em out in Moraine, especially since the Fricker’s burned down here.

As far as places to go just for the FOOD (ahem), Wing Zone surpasses by far the other wing joints in the area. They have a vast selection of sauces. The menu is pretty substantial for a take-out place. I go there whenever I’m in the mood for wings. My favorite sauce is the Hot Garlic - Yummy!! They deliver and the service is quick & friendly and they’ve never gotten my order wrong, no matter how large.

I agree with Sam. Wish it was a Hooters. Their wings are the best. Plus, the sights aren’t bad either.
