Needy seniors need you to play Santa
There is still time to play Santa to needy seniors and there are still plenty of seniors in need of help.
The Home Instead Senior Care’s Centerville location has teamed with Clark’s Rx Pharmacy and Wal-Mart stores for the “Be a Santa to a Senior” campaign.
Home Instead administrative assistant Drew Pelfrey said gifts are still needed for about 50 area seniors. The program helps about 300 seniors identified by local non profits annually.
You can pick an ornament from Christmas trees set up at the participating stores, buy items on the list and return them unwrapped to the store.
Volunteers will collect, wrap and deliver the gifts to seniors. The trees are set up at Wal-Mart, 8800 Kingsridge Dr., Miami Twp. as well as Clark’s locations at 5799 Springboro Pike, West Carrollton; 31 W. Whipp St., Centerville; 2601 S. Smithville Road, Dayton; and 3081 Far Hills Ave in Kettering.
