Community Day sale today at E-B
Today, Feb. 27, two area stores are having sizable sales, and one benefits more than your pocketbook.
Elder-Beerman is having its Community Day sale today, which it calls its biggest one-day sale of the spring. The store will have 75 percent off winter coats, as well as 30 percent to 60 percent off clothes for the family and discounts on furniture.
The biggest deals will be between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
As for the Community Day aspect, shoppers donate $5 and receive a booklet with a $10 off coupon, a 30 percent off early bird coupon for use between 7 and 10 a.m., and six 20 percent off coupons to use all day.
The fundraising event is designed to provide local nonprofit organizations and schools with a fun and easy way to raise money. For more information, visit the Community Day site.
By the way, Macy’s also is having a one-day sale today, with 30 percent to 75 percent off storewide, including up to 75 percent off designer down coats and big savings on sportswear and suits.
