Parsing Palin

It’s from The New Republic, sure, but this essay doesn’t concern itself with Sarah Palin’s politics … rather, it’s a consideration of her much-discussed speaking style, breaking it down linguistically, comparing it to that of other public figures and looking at why it works for her. It’s pretty interesting.
