The ladies stand out early on ‘Dancing’
Okay, so I missed last week’s kickoff. Good thing all 11 stars danced again this week.
You got Hillary’s first impressions last week. Now mine. Did your opinion of anyone change after their second dance?
The Fox Trots: Aiden Turner and partner Edyta Sliwinska were pleasant? Aiden was good, but I keep forgetting about him. I think he will probably be voted out early.
Niecy Nash and partner Louis van Amstel are already my absolute favorites! Niecy is so fun and adorable, but she did a great job of pulling off a sophisticated Fox Trot. My only beef — why did they have to put her in such a hideous dress? It looked like something out of Ms. Piggy’s wardrobe. My girl Niecy doesn’t deserve that! She looked really cute in her practice clothes. Let her wear those.
Yes Buzz Aldrin is sweet. Yes, he’s an American icon and a hero to many. But no, he is not a good dancer. Great to see him trying new things and giving it his all, but he won’t be on the show long.
Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were another favorite of mine. I believe the fellas would agree she’s, how do you say, crazy hot? I loved how she was able to belch and do the splits in the same episode. I thought her Fox Trot looked the most polished and professional.
Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood. I don’t have much to say except, Wow! Pamela looked incredible and I doubt anyone in the audience took their eyes off her the entire dance. Does anyone else get the sense that they are gunning for male viewers this season?
I admittedly have a soft spot for OchoCinco, but bias aside I did not think Chad OchoCinco and partner Cheryl Burke’s Fox Trot was that bad. Luckily I think his personality will pull him through to another week. He and Cheryl are so cute in their backstage interaction. I really hope she can teach his butt to dance.
The Jive-ers: Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas — less emotional than last week and much more fun!
I don’t know what my problem is, but I just didn’t like Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya’s Jive. They only get my vote this week because they stopped by Evan’s childhood home in the Chicago suburbs near my own hometown.
Bachelor Jake Pavelka and partner Chelsie Hightower’s routine seemed extremely frantic. He can’t seem to decide if he is attacking that poor blonde girl or staring at her chest. Isn’t his new fiancé in the audience?
Wow! Two 10s for Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough. Especially after it seemed like the producers gave them the fastest song EVER to Jive to. Not sure it deserved that high of a score, but it was definitely good.
Having watched Kate’s show, I have to say that Kate Gosselin is being pretty tame towards her partner Tony Dovolani. You’re supposed to be the teacher Tony, man up and tell her to shut up and dance. Not that it’s going to help her absolutely dismal dance ability. On the plus side, momma’s legs look fierce!
Predictions: The ladies are going to take the top spots: Nicole, Erin, Niecy and Pam are here to stay for a while.
Either Buzz, Kate or Aiden are going home.
Who’s your first week pick to go home?

Buzz should go tonight. Kate needs another chance and perhaps lose the stiffness.

I don’t think anyone deserves a 10 in week 2. If they do, they shouldn’t be on the show. I think Nicole has too much dance experience for the show. If Kate deserved a 15, Chad deserved a 20. Kate was awful. I think Chad has done a good job and he has great attitude. I hope Kate goes home tonight but rumor has it the fan vote has her in the top of the pack. Ugh!!!

Kate is waaayyyyy out of her league, and that clip showed the world what a control freak she really is. Send her home and if we’re all lucky her “fame” will quickly fade away.

Love Niecy! She’s got all my votes! I think the PCD chick has too much previous dance experience and has an unfair advantage. I’m not voting for her even if she’s the best. Gotta admit, Evan is much hotter on the ice by himself. He’s not doing anything for me now - maybe it’s his floppy hair. Love Buzz but I’m afraid his health won’t hold out. And what’s with his wife always right there? Is she jealous or just trying to always steal the spotlight? Chad is doing pretty good and I don’t think he deserved the marks he got. I’ve noticed that they judge the football players the hardest. Maybe they think he’s not taking it seriously. (Usually they don’t.)

Ok my take on DWTS. Ocho is just cashing in on his Fame. He really should step back and allow Ms Burke teach him to dance, not flirt with her.Hmm doesn’t he have a kid or two down in Fla, and a GF there? So what is he doing flirting when he has a GF back home or is it just so his Dating show will get off to a good start? I can only hope that when I am 80 I have as much pep as Buzz does. So he can’t run or dance as fast as the others. Lets see how well Ohco dances when he is age 80.. IMHO I don’t think Chad will be on the show more then 4 weeks. Many on DWTS much better. His fan base will keep him only so long. The Females will win out this time around. Derek/Nicole unless they do something really wrong or bad, should win. Lets face it, Pammy is there for her looks. She did a nice dance last night, Erin has surprised me, she is Super Hot, Much Hotter then Pammy A. The rest, well not certain about the rest of you, but please stop with the Soap Stars. 99% of American have no clue who these people are. I know they are on ABC soaps so must tend to PR for them. Bruno should take a chill pill. Do we really care if he danced with Sir Elton . Len is at least honest with his points of views and Ms Kate. OR shall I say Ms DIVA, from what I am reading and hearing she is a problem on the set. Ms Diva, go back to your 8 kids, get back to work as a RN, do something more then be on TV. OH for those who are not aware, everyone on DWTS gets a nice $250,000 check be they winners of go home day one. Last years Kathy Ireland gave all of hers to s charity, can only hope others do the same.

Buzz is the only one I wanted to watched. Just imagining what it would be like to dance with one who has a glimpse of the cosmos etched in his memory is a winner in my book!

I agree with ‘Buzz’ being an American Icon, but I fear for his health in this effort. Watched him holding his side the first week .. nice looking guy, but I hold my breath during his dance(s). Love Niecy and agree she needs a little spice in her costume(s). Tony pulled a bum partner. He’s too talented to try to handle Kate. SHE couldn’t believe he quit!!! Derek is amazing & his partner seemed to keep up with him. GO…

I think Chad got a bum score. Kate is bad and trying to bully her teacher like she did her husband. She needs to go. Like Buzz but he never should have been part this show. Either Kate or Buzz should go this week…

Poor Chad. He didn’t sleep a wink last night because he thought the judges were too harsh. Pleeeeze. Go back to the other thing you’re not good at.

You think her legs are fierce? I think it was wrong of them to put her in that get up!…Look I think she loves her kids but I truly think that in her head she thinks this is her second chance to be something and wishes she didnt have these kids hold ing her back I think she really believes the public loves her for her when its the kids and her outbursts and shewish behavior and then pretending to be the pure as the driven snow attitude she possesses now that people love to hate that got her where she is now. She is delusional and it is TLC’s fault, because when is done and they cannot squeeze anymore money out of her this women who truly believes she is an A-list celeb is going the crack up bad and the bad part is, is that the kids again will feel the heat and pain. I am from Pa. I know people who know her and tried to help her out, she never wanted to be alone with the kids, never wanted to do the playing with the kids things and although I do not condone Jons antics now I know he would be the best “parent” in this situation…Her platform constantly is she is doing it for the kids but the money she spends on galavanting around could be used for them to get by. Think about it people she wasnt even around when they were together and she could have been I mean they went as far as building a dance floor in her home for her to be there and she was hardly there then…I say yes to doing what you have to to support your kids when you are a single parent or not, but when you bust your mouth off about just wanting to be with your kids and watch them grow and have memories, you cant make memories if your never around for them to happen!!!!

I don’t mind seeing a few dances with the old timers. Buzz is getting the older viewers to watch, but he’s bad. Aiden was improved from last week and I like Edyta but not sure he has the fan base to keep it going. I have been on team Kate since day one (her ex is an idiot)and give the girl kudos for trying cuz I’m sure I’d be even worse at the jive but she did NOT improve. I think her fans will keep her in there another week or two.

Why do they have these old people on to compete anyway, they cannot keep up with these young people and I think they should have a show of just the oldies if they want to be on the show, at least that would be fair.
