‘Project Runway’ is finally set to return along with a new series

Sew the date in your planner - Lifetime Television has set the date for the return of ‘Project Runway’ Season Six.

Runway fans can tune in August 20 at 10PM, to see Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and a whole cast of designers as they make the much delayed appearance on their new home, Lifetime Television.

Thanks to and extended legal battle between The Weinstein Company, Bravo TV and Lifetime, this season show has been in the can for months, just waiting to air.

An all-new series, ‘Models of the Runway,’ is set to premiere on the coattails of ‘Project Runway’s’ season opener. The show is billed as an exciting “behind-the-scenes look at the reality competition - from the models’ perspective.”

I’m just hopeful that after the long delay, Season Six of ‘Project Runway’ is worth the wait.
