Rising star of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ overlooked 10 years ago

How could it be that someone with Susan Boyle’s talent has gone unoticed?

Boyle’s performance on ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ the UK’s version of ‘American Idol,’ has been taking the Internet by storm.

The Times Online, a UK publication, is reporting that Boyle appeared on an independently distributed charity CD singing a remake of the “Cry Me a River,” about 10 years ago. Less than 1,000 are thought to have been made.

Boyle has been making the rounds on the American talk show circuit with a possible appearance on Oprah in the works.

Kelle,’ a valued contributor to this blog summed it the best; “This is a perfect example of what joy we might miss when we judge a book by its cover! I agree!

I just wish we had more of these moments on Idol and the like!

Another example why age should not be a factor for talent! How many other talented individuals have been overlooked?
